INSPO: Beneath the seafoam veil, the ocean reveals its quiet enchantments; seahorses drifting, starfish clinging to coral, and shells nestled in the sand. The periphery of the snorkel mask’s, the water stills, and from the seafloor, a shape emerges. Long hair, the color of moonlight, fans out like seaweed caught in the tide. A silvery tail flickers, reflecting the sun that pierced the blue. She is there,real, not a half myth or tales spun by sailors. Watching you with eyes the color of kelp and stormy skies. Bioluminescence trails her as she glides effortlessly through a curtain of kelp. You follow, entranced, weightless in this cathedral of the deep. Coral arches loom above, and fish dart like painted prayers. In the distance, a structure of stone and shell rises from the ocean floor an ancient ruin, perhaps, or something older…
